Smoked Country Jam 2020 Status Update After much discussion, and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Smoked Country Jam this June, and begin working toward the 2021 festival, set for June 17-19. Though we feared this would happen, we have until now hoped that it wouldn’t end this way. Given the painful reality of COVID-19, one of the greatest global health challenges of our lifetimes, we feel this is the right thing to do. We are heartbroken, and we know many of you are as well, but the health and well being of Smoked Country Jam attendees, artists, and staff are our greatest concern. With the restrictions in our state just having been extended into May, we can't be certain they will be lifted by June to a level that will allow our campground to be open, or to allow festival gatherings to take place. Because of the nature of this cancellation we feel it is only right to offer ticket refunds to those who have already purchased tickets for this year’s event. The festival organizers will be reaching out to each ticket purchaser with details about this in the near future. We feel this was one of the most entertaining lineups we have brought together in the 16 years of our event. Looking to 2021, we will do all we can to bring as many of those artists back for next year’s festival.
While it is tremendously disappointing that Smoked Country Jam won’t take place this June, we are looking forward to celebrating the beauty of bluegrass music and our love of life with you next June.
Smoked Country Jam is a 3-day family-friendly event, tucked high in the
mountains of the Pennsylvania Wilds. The festival brings together performers
from all branches of the bluegrass tree. Whether the music is traditional or
progressive, Americana, old time or Roots, all share the stage. The festival
showcases the past, present and future of this American-made music. Lineups of
national and regional performers bring over 40 hours of music to the stages
each year. Held at The Quiet Oaks Campground, in Cross Fork, northern Clinton
County, the event features a 3-day Lupus Auction benefiting The Lupus
Foundation. There is a full schedule of bluegrass workshops and children
activities, a vendor midway, and the Pennsylvania Heritage Songwriting Contest.
The festival is both 4-wheeler and pet friendly. Rustic camping is included
with all tickets. Ticket levels include full-festival, single-day, and
Friday/Saturday combo tickets. All festival information can be found online at
www.smokedcountryjam.com, or www.facebook.com/smokedcountry. Items Not Allowed
